Sacrament of Confirmation 2025
Confirmation enhances and deepens the spiritual journey that begins with Baptism.
It strengthens a Christian's relationship with God and fortifies the Gifts of the Holy Spirit: wisdom, understanding, counsel, fortitude, knowledge, piety, and fear of the Lord. This empowerment equips Christians to more effectively witness Christ in the world.
The Cathedral of the Holy Spirit Parish offers an engaging and spirited Confirmation Programme every year during Term 2, held Mondays from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The Programme consists of seven sessions, along with a weekend confirmation camp.
The 2025 Confirmation Programme is to take place during Term 2, from 05 May 2025 to 29 June 2025.
Confirmation sessions
Sessions are held from 6-8pm at the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit Palmerston North

Confirmation Mass
Sunday, 29th June 2025, at 6pm at the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit with Bishop John Adams, followed by a Confirmation Celebration in the church hall.
